So with that said who's looking forward to the newest generation of console gaming? I also hear that its going with an 'always on' setup. Which means you have a paper weight if their isn't a connection to the interwebs. For 500 bucks I could do some nice upgrades to my computer so... I'm not really sold.

I really hate the shift to completely digital media with no hardcopies. A great part of videogames has always been the ability to loan them out to a friend for a while, just like books.

But I'm sure the next generation will just look at that notion as some quaint thing old people like to remember.
