So hopefully it's later this week or next. I've got some pretty big plans as some of you already know. I've got some more of the backend to do but it sounds like I'll be able to get it all polished up for the big release.
Ok here's what I've got so far.
1 - The rules are simple. Kill hammer and you win the pot. The pot starts at $10 and gets multiplied per day without a kill with a maximum of $300. A kill is the last hit dealt to the Hunted that causes death. That means the reward goes to that player only. So you are also in competition with your fellow hunters.
2 - The Hunted (me this season), is allotted a 2 hour head start. This allows the hunted a chance to gain a bit of distance between the hunters, hopefully time to get off the starter island.
3 - In the event that the Hunted is killed before day 30 the server will be reset and restarted the following day. This will give other hunters that may not be able to play as much a chance to take the pot.
4 - Upon death every player must log his death on the tracker page (that will be finished shortly) with in 30 mins. This will provide 2 things. First it will assist keeping track of note 5 below and the Hunted (Hammer) may in fact fall victim to a PVE death and thus be spawning back at the starter island and could provide some interesting drama.
5 - To incentivize the hardcore not dying aspect of the game. If I remain hidden and unharmed in the 30 day season, the pot will be broken down into.
With least amount of deaths
First Place: 60% of the total prize, which would be $180.
Second Place: 25% of the total prize, which would be $75.
Third Place: 15% of the total prize, which would be $45.
In the event of a tie, a duel will decide the winner.
6 - No walling the spawn area is allowed and obviously no cheating of any kind. If found cheating all winnings will be forfeit and the offending hunter banned and shunned.
7 - All payouts will be awarded at the end of the season.
8 - Each day clues will be dropped as to hammers whereabouts.
