The big take away for me is the armor color dying. Yes! New tier of armor and weapons isn't unexpected.

Oh wait this is a big change. "It’s because they’re not buildings anymore. Shards will now be a necklace item with powerful stats and buffs and will also provide a unique ultimate ability that overwrites your currently equipped one."

A bunch of new amor sets is also nice.
