7 Days to Die Big announcement!

It's good to see a game finally leave early access. These days early access is where some games seem to live forever. Son's of the forest just went into full release in February to mention one. It actually had a rather short time in early access like a year or so? A trend I hope other devs will follow (cough Iron Gate). I do plan to give Son's a go at some point. Look for some coverage on that soon but back to 7 days.
I've only recently been introduced to this game. Not more then just a week ago I was riding a bike down a zombie littered roadway and cowering in the attic of a day care on the 7th day. Digging a hole in the ground. Falling onto my own spiked defenses. Trying to figure out why I couldn't run. I was super thirsty and hungry it turns out. One of my friends stealing my bike and leaving me to die. I forgot to slap a bike lock on it I guess. You can tell I haven't really sunk my heels into the game yet but plan to do so and give a full review.
The game has some good humor and some neat easter eggs. Like I'm pretty sure the wanted and lost posters are devs, testers and kick starter backers. And I'm liking the immersion of some of Bob's decor here. Definitely something you would find in some post apocolyptic trading post. The vending machine cracked me up to. Mostly Air and Eye Candy.

I had a good bit off fun for sure and its funny because I noticed the game was still in early access and mocked it for being in that state for so long and not even a week later they announce that its finally going to be fully released. I feel somehow that I had some hand in it being plucked out of early access, like the universe heard my mocking and sent a tremor and urged the devs over at The Fun Pimps to release it finally.

They have a roadmap of planned future updates and features ahead for all platforms, and the games new pricing. Late May or June is when they plan to release.
