Minecraft turns 15!!

15 years ago on the 16th/17th May 2009 (depending on where in the world you are) Minecraft for PC debuted on the world stage. It was initially called "Cave Game" and was developed by Notch (aka Markus Persson). Since then we have mined, fought, sailed and flown our way around this iconic sandbox again and again. I think I bought my first copy of the game way back in 2012 after messing around on a friend's account and accidentally playing until 5AM IN THE MORNING!! Yes I had to work that day too ... it was rough. I still play to this day!

Mojang are offering 15 days of free Character Creation items every day between 15th May and 29th May, 2024. All you have to do is log into your Minecraft account on minecraft.net and then claim your free items from the Marketplace (under the Games Tab).
