Blizzard/Activision has confirmed that the release date for Season 28 will be Friday 24th February at 5pm PST.
The devs are going to keep us in the development process and not keep us in the dark. Quests? HairCuts? Ashlands Undead Zone?
In 3 days we get to see a gameplay trailer. So they are getting the hype train running. I think they are going to make it happen this year.
